How to Make a Right Turn at a Red Light
In Canada, it is generally legal to make a right-hand turn on a red light, although there are many intersections that are exceptions to this rule.
You may turn right facing a red light unless a sign says otherwise, as long as you make a full stop first and wait until the path is clear. Remember to yield to pedestrians and other road users by signaling your turn.
