There are various kinds of remedial measures. The Back on track program is mandatory for all drivers who are convicted of impaired and any driving-related Criminal Code offenses. Those drivers having more than 1 year of warning range conviction are required to undergo an alcohol treatment or alcohol education program. if your license is being suspended due to a Criminal Code conviction, your driver’s license will still be suspended until you completed all the remedial requirements needed.
When involved in the scene of an accident, you should first check on yourself and make sure you and your passengers are okay. Go and check on the other vehicle as well, and find out the condition of the driver and passengers. If you notice anyone hurt or injured, you should call medical assistance right away. Provide first aid while waiting for the medical team to arrive. If no one requires any medical assistance, they should remain where they are until authorities arrive and help them settle the situation. Fleeing the scene could result in you facing criminal charges. Cooperate with the other party and the authorities for a smooth negotiation and settlement, to avoid further complications.
