Medical Suspensions

Medical health experts like doctors need to report the names and also their addresses for those people who are 16 years of age or older who have a health condition that may affect their capacity in driving safely like heart problems, stroke, dizziness, and the like. Doctors will report these details to the Ministry of Transportation and must not give them to someone else. Your license as a driver may be suspended until there is a new medical result or evidence that shows your health condition does not pose a safety risk.

If you’re a new driver, you need to educate and familiarize yourself with the laws and regulations when it comes to driving. You should always be aware of yourself and your surroundings. It is your duty as a driver to provide a safe road for yourself and all the other drivers. Make sure you are fully prepared to be one before getting on the road.
